The goal of this department is to support the students’ political self-management and to fight for better working and housing conditions. To achieve this, we will cooperate with existing institutions and, if possible, establish new ones to continuously advocate for your interests. The issue of affordable student housing is tightly linked to the city’s housing policy. Therefore, we want to strengthen students’ representation on a local level and join forces with other movements to cooperate in our struggle towards a solidary housing policy and just urban development.

We are convinced that high-quality teaching is only possible under fair work conditions. To us, this also means to push for better working conditions for us and for others: We support the teachers and tutors, as well as the university’s research assistants, the technical staff, and the administrative workers in their struggle for better employment conditions.
